We were the first company in Japan to release full-fledged anticorrosive coatings to the market, and throughout we have been a leader in the market of anticorrosive coatings. Our anticorrosive coatings are used in a wide range of domains, such as in the steel frames of buildings, bridges, industrial plants, and concrete structures.
Our anticorrosive coatings have two principal features: ultra-high weather resistance and environmentally friendly composition.
The ultra-high weather resistance is achieved through the use of fluorine resins. Fluorine resin coats used as primer under heavy duty anticorrosive coating will protect the base material for decades, helping to reduce the life cycle costs (LCC) of steel structures. In Japan, many different steel structures are coated in this fashion, including bridges, plants, and iconic buildings in cities.
To create an environmentally friendly composition, we have successfully developed water-based heavy duty anticorrosive coating systems that stand ahead of the rest in the industry. These systems offer the same level of quality and workability as solvent-based coatings. Another remarkable feature of this system is that it has paved the way for heavy duty anticorrosive coatings that use only water-based coatings, such as zinc-rich primers and top coatings.
In recent years, we have been expanding our operations outside Japan, focusing mainly on Southeast Asia and China. We apply the expertise we have built up in Japan to acquire standard-related certification and develop products that meet the needs of overseas users.
